During the winter nothing sounds better than staying in and spending the evening snuggling on the couch. Especially during a snowy or rainy day! I’m thrilled to share with you the heartwarming story of Katie and Matt, whose love radiates warmth even on the chilliest of days. Set at their charming home in New Jersey, this couple’s session is a testament to the beauty of love found in the everyday moments.

I’ve known Katie (and her sister – Hi Alyssa!! lol) since high school, and her outgoing personality and kindness always stood out. So, when the opportunity arose to capture her love with Matt, I knew it was going to be something special. They have been on my calendar for over a year, eagerly anticipating a snow day session in 2023. However, Mother Nature had other plans, and we didn’t get enough snow last year. Undeterred, Katie and Matt decided to switch gears and embrace the cozy vibes of an in-home session with their adorable pup, Puck! 🐾

As we embarked on their in-home session, Katie and Matt’s love shone brightly, illuminating every corner of their cozy abode. They embraced each silly prompt with laughter and joy, from playful prompts to sweet embraces by the window. It was a session filled with warmth and love, capturing the essence of their relationship amidst the comforts of home. And as the rain gently pattered against the windows, we knew that this was a day to remember – a celebration of love, laughter, and the beauty of finding joy in the simple moments. ☔️💕

Their Love Story

It’s 2017, and Katie finds herself at a graduation party, surrounded by friends and acquaintances. Little did she know that this seemingly ordinary night would change the course of her life forever. Matt, a friend of a friend, enters the scene, and sparks begin to fly. Despite some initial miscommunications (thanks to mistaken identities and a playful misunderstanding over texting), Katie and Matt’s connection deepens with each passing moment. And thus, their love story begins – a tale of chance encounters, flirtatious banter, and the sweet serendipity of finding love when you least expect it. 💑💬
Fast forward to today, and Katie and Matt’s love continues to bloom, stronger than ever. As they celebrate their five-year milestone, they embrace the simple pleasures of life – good food, cozy nights at home, and the company of their beloved pup, Puck. Their perfect date night? A delicious home-cooked meal, followed by snuggles on the couch, and perhaps a soothing massage from Katie for Matt. It’s the little moments like these that truly capture the essence of their love – genuine, effortless, and filled with warmth. 🍽️🛋️
