Set the Scene: A Casual March Evening at the National Mall, Washington DC

March evenings in DC have a certain magic to them – a blend of anticipation and laid-back vibes that set the stage for unforgettable adventures. So, when Kyle and Molly reached out for a photoshoot before their big move, I couldn’t wait to join them on their journey down memory lane.

Let me just say, this session was an absolute blast from start to finish! Molly and Kyle’s infectious energy matched mine perfectly, and it was clear from our very first email exchange that we were going to have a great time together. Although our original session got rained out (thanks, unpredictable weather!), we didn’t let that dampen our spirits. Instead, we rescheduled and met up at the US Supreme Court, ready to make some magic happen. 💫

Molly’s coworker from a previous job, Michelle, joined us to lend a hand, and let me tell you, having an extra set of hands was a game-changer, especially when wrangling furbabies! With treats and toys in hand, Kyle and Molly came prepared to keep Scout and Camper entertained and well-behaved throughout the session. 🐾🏛️

We started the session across the street from the Supreme Court, with the majestic US Capitol building as our backdrop. I couldn’t help but marvel at how picturesque the spot was – it’s no wonder I love shooting here! Kyle and Molly, along with their adorable pups Scout and Camper, were so photogenic against the greenery and iconic architecture. After capturing some photos at our first stop, we made our way back to the US Supreme Court building and captured along with some adorable family photos. From there, we made our way down a few blocks to capture some fun city vibe photos where we were running across the streets of DC. It was exhilarating to capture the energy of the city and the love between these two!

Their Love Story:

Kyle and Molly’s love story is the epitome of modern romance. It all began with a swipe right on Bumble back in 2017, leading to a series of hilariously memorable dates. From Kyle’s questionable outfit choices to Molly’s unenthused one-armed hug (classic!), their journey to love was anything but ordinary. But hey, as they say, the rest is history!

As they prepare to bid adieu to the DMV, Kyle and Molly are eager to capture this chapter of their lives. With dreams of starting a family on the horizon, they’re cherishing these final moments as just “Molly + Kyle.” Their love for each other and the city they’ve called home for the past seven years shines through, and they’re excited to create tangible reminders of the adventures they’ve shared -including their adorable fur babies, Scout and Camper! 🐾🏙️
