This past June, I had the immense pleasure of wrapping up my June weddings with Mat and Lauren’s spectacular celebration at the Desmond Hotel Malvern. As a long-time friend of Mat, it was an honor to capture this beautiful day filled with love, laughter, and heartfelt moments. The Desmond Hotel Malvern, with its elegant charm and sophisticated ambiance, provided the perfect backdrop for their special day.

The Desmond Hotel Malvern is known for its classic elegance and refined style. The venue features beautiful ballrooms, lush gardens, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes it an ideal setting for a wedding. The ballroom where Mat and Lauren’s ceremony took place was adorned with a stunning fireplace surrounded by lush florals, adding a touch of romance to the event.

The day began with a heartwarming first look, and let me tell you, Mat’s reaction to seeing Lauren in her stunning gown was priceless. My team and I were right there with them, sharing in the tears of joy and the genuine emotions of the moment. The ceremony was just as touching, with the couple walking up the aisle to “Let’s Get Married” by Bleachers—a song that perfectly captured the excitement and happiness of the day.

One of my favorite moments from the reception was the couple’s unique touch of visiting each table to take group photos. It was a wonderful way for Mat and Lauren to connect with their guests, ensuring that everyone felt special and included. This personal touch made the reception even more memorable.

The evening was filled with lively dancing and heartfelt speeches. The dance floor was buzzing with energy as guests celebrated and enjoyed the night. While I had to switch to my guest attire during cocktail hour, the fun and festive atmosphere was evident, making it hard to not join in on the celebration!
