Set the Scene: A soft November evening on the Historic Streets of West Chester, PA
When Lorrana reached out about capturing her and her fiancé’s engagement photos I was so thrilled! Having familiar faces from high school or college reach out for a photoshoot is always the best, and truly such an honor. Lorrana and I met in college and are sorority sister’s! (Shout out to our sorority, Delta Phi Epsilon!) On the day of their engagement session we arrived to the planned location, but due to the crowds we had to switch gears last minute and I can’t tell you guys how much I LOVE these photos from the new location!! These changes brought us to the historic streets of West Chester, Pennsylvania and I think it’s safe to say West Chester made an amazing backdrop for this sweet couple! Honestly with the smiles and laughter these two shared all evening, you wouldn’t have guessed that it wasn’t the original plan. They are also just such a down to earth and kind couple and you can see how much fun they had at their session. The streets of West Chester were already decorated for the winter season and I love the lowkey Christmas vibes they bring to these photos.

Their Love Story
Lorrana and Tyler’s paths crossed at Kean University! They met at a local bar near campus their senior year of college right before Lorrana was going to work for Disney. Lorrana was headed to Disney and Tyler was about to take on grad school in New York. Being almost a 3 hour flight away is quite the distance, but it was nothing for this sweet couple. They successfully beat the 2.5 years of long distance and have been loving living together these past 2 years!

Their proposal story is super sweet – you know I love all things meaningful and this ones a good one! Lorrana shared with me, “Tyler asked me on July 5th in Florida on a beach across the street from where my mom and grandma live. It was so special and meant so much because I have been going to same exact beach ever since I was a little girl. My mom and grandma knew it was happening but I had no idea until he went down on one knee :)”
