University of Maryland Graduation Session BFF Edition

Sabrina & Aylah are two of the most down to earth, fun loving grads I had the pleasure of capturing this past graduation season! This Spring University of Maryland graduation session was filled with so much laughter and excitement as these two celebrated their final undergrad moments together.

Spotlight sessions are my favorite as there’s so much time for exploring McKeldin Mall with 2 grads! We had plenty of time to capture not only a variety of locations along the mall, but a variety of creative photos like motion blur and flash photography! Keep scrolling to see those photos! At the end of their session we grabbed a table inside of ESJ and they each got to select their favorite photos; with no limit on how many photos they’d receive. Honestly this is my favorite add on. I love getting to see which photos my grads enjoy of theirs and are excited to share and print.

At each location I like to start with portraits of each grad, and then go into group photos. Here are a few of my favorites from their session!

The University of Maryland Campus.

The University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland offers a wide variety of scenic locations that make for perfect portrait backgrounds. From the Georgian-style architecture to the tree-lined walkways, there’s truly no shortage of beautiful photo spots on campus. The beloved Testudo statue is another campus favorite. Each finals week, students take part in the long-standing tradition of leaving offerings for good luck, adding a bit of charm and meaning to the campus experience!
