Set the Scene: A Playful Evening at Howard County Nature Conservancy

Kamden and Sam’s engagement session at Howard County Nature Conservancy in Woodstock, Maryland, was an absolute dream come true! From the moment they reached out to me, I knew their energy would make for an unforgettable photoshoot. They brought a football along to ease the nerves, and it turned into a super cute game of tag, complete with playful competition. You know it’s going to be a good day when you start with laughter and some friendly competition! 😜🏈

After some football fun, we wandered up to the tall grassy hill, where Kamden pulled out her Mini Mouse ears with a veil attached – talk about adorable! It was one of those moments where you can’t help but smile. I had them skipping through the field, holding hands, and just enjoying the moment. It was awesome seeing how easily they laughed together and how naturally they embraced each other during the session. ❤️

Once we wrapped up at the park, Kamden and Sam suggested heading over to one of their favorite local spots, The Snowball Stand. I mean, who doesn’t love shaved ice on a warm day? These two shared a delicious shaved ice and ended the session with one last kiss in front of their awesome truck. Such a perfect way to close out a day filled with love and laughter! 💕

Their Love Story

Kamden and Sam met during 2020 on Bumble, and their first date was one for the books. They FaceTimed for five hours straight! (the things we do when for love!) When they finally met in person, it was like they’d known each other forever. They continued to talk, go on long walks, play catch, and do all the fun things you do when you’re falling in love. A couple of months later, Sam asked Kamden to make it official, and the rest, as they say, is history. They moved in together super quickly and started planning all kinds of trips, creating memories wherever they went. ✈️

Sam’s proposal was as romantic as it gets. While visiting family in Long Beach, California, before their Disneyland vacation, they headed to Laguna Beach, despite the pouring rain. Kamden was puzzled about their beach visit in the downpour, but she followed along. They had to cross a flooded part of the beach, and her cousin and Sam jumped right over it without hesitation. Kamden followed, and that’s when Sam pulled her towards the cliff and asked the big question. She was jumping up and down with excitement before he even got down on one knee! Talk about a proposal to remember! 💍🌊
