Katie and Richie were looking forward to two things the most on their wedding day: their first look and their first dance. The first look was a moment filled with anticipation and emotion, as they saw each other for the first time in their wedding attire. The first dance was a magical moment, surrounded by loved ones, as they shared a dance to a song that held special meaning for them. These moments were not only highlights of their day but also beautifully captured memories that they will treasure for a lifetime.

Their Love Story

Katie and Richie’s love story began in the most unexpected of places—a restaurant in New Jersey. Katie had just moved to NJ from Arkansas and started working as a hostess. Richie was a server at the same restaurant. Katie recalls her first impression of Richie, “I remember first seeing him and thinking he was really cute haha.” One day, while taking the garbage out back, she struck up a conversation with Richie, who was on a break. He invited her to join some friends that night, and the rest is history. From that moment on, they were inseparable, and their love continued to grow.

Richie planned the perfect proposal during a Christmas visit to Katie’s parents in California. They decided to take a trip to Lake Tahoe for some skiing. The day after skiing, Richie suggested they go for a walk around the lake. Katie didn’t suspect a thing as they grabbed warm drinks and headed out. They walked around the lake and up to a dock, where Richie began saying sweet things. Katie was completely taken by surprise, “All I could say was, ‘What are you doing? Are you serious?'” To make the moment even more special, Richie had arranged for local photographers to capture the entire proposal. It was a beautiful, intimate moment that they will cherish forever.

Katie and Richie’s perfect date night involves exploring new restaurants in Jersey City, enjoying live music at a concert, and ending the night with some bar hopping. Their love for live music was evident throughout their wedding, from the music festival-inspired decor to the lively dance floor that kept everyone celebrating well into the night. Their wedding was a true reflection of their love story and their shared passion for music and fun.
