A Sweet UMD Couples Graduation Session

Lexi and Carter’s graduation session took us to so many special spots around the University of Maryland campus! Carter studied Mechanical Engineering, while Lexi studied Animal Science and General Business, so we started with individual photos in places that reflected their time at UMD.

We kicked things off with Carter at the Jeong H. Kim Engineering Building and outside the E.A. Fernandez IDEA Factory. Then we headed to the UMD Campus Farm for Lexi’s photos with one of the horses! Working with the animals was one of her favorite parts of college, though she says the cows are her favorite.

After starting at campus spots connected to each of their majors, we headed to McKeldin Mall for photos together at the fountain, along Willow Walk, with Testudo, and by the columns surrounding the mall. We fit in a few more individual portraits, too! We even ran into one of Carter’s friends and some of Lexi’s friends along the way, so of course we had to get photos with them.

Graduation Week with Family

During graduation week, Lexi and Carter each met me back on campus for a few celebratory photos with their families. Carter’s parents both went to UMD and met there, which made capturing them together especially sweet. Lexi’s parents brought their dog Cody, and he was the cutest addition to their photos! I always love getting a portrait of the proud parents during these moments, too.
