I think it’s safe for everyone to assume that I’m ALL for bringing your fur baby to your sesh!

Here are some tips and things to consider if you’re planning on bringing your pup to a session with me 🙂

1. Bring treats or a toy!

Having a squeaky toy, or any toy will help bring your pet’s attention to the camera for some shots. And of course, we can’t forget to reward their good behavior with some treats!

2. Bring a friend, family member, or pet sitter!

Having someone to hang tight with your pet so I can capture some shots of you and your lover without any potential distractions makes it easier for all of us!

3. Tire them out before your sesh!

If your fur baby is very energetic try taking them on a walk or playing with them before the session. This will help keep them calm during photos.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

4. Consider getting a simple or neutral color leash.

Something bright and strongly patterned may end up being an eyesore and take away from your photos.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

5. Lastly, make sure to let your photographer know ahead of time that you’re interested in bringing your dog, (or even cat) to your session!

This is important because we want to make sure animals are allowed at the location we choose for photos. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
